Scope of work:
Design the initial book cover for a series of instructional manuals. Cover needed to establish a visual brand based upon an existing logo that we also designed. Final artwork was to be print and eBook ready.
Working with the existing logo and color palette, we used a mix of photography and illustrated icons to visually convey the subject of the book, floorball. A stylized band in the logo colors (blue and orange) was created and incorporated into the cover and spine layouts as a branding tool for this and future publications. We chose a photographic image from our own archive that worked well with the subject matter and communicated a sense of team and coaching.
